My schedule as college student isn't all so bad.  Tuesdays and Thursdays all about mom and I.  Mornings are pretty simple.  Beginning at 7am sharp.

Taking my sister to High School and looking like a complete embarrassment.  I don't think she minds?

Then time to take dad to work.

What can I say...about view.  It doesn't look good

Until you reach his work.  Destination View: Beautiful

Dad and I get some good laughs on our drive or we are complete zombies. But regardless, I love waking up this every day.  Despite how much I hated waking up to freezing air and snow like clouds.  I had high hopes for good weather at this point.

My day started productive, taking a lil' cat (or should I say dog nap) before gettin busy.

What makes cleaning worth it is of course seeing the end product.  I do wish this morning that I was Mary Poppins and considered the job "a game!"

I don't think so.

One thing that you can always count in Utah is to have unpredictable weather.  Always.  The weather Man's job is always on a tight rope because even if they say it will be 40 degrees and sunny, they lie.
Case and point this what your afternoon brings.

You almost always receive snow, but I will mention that it comes a season late.

                                       Take me to a beach.....

The Little Fish

I would like to brag about my little sister Britt'e.  This girl is seriously a human fish in water!! This past Friday my mom, my little sister "Bean" and I all went to her swim meet.  Many complications occurred when the meet was supposed to start at 5...well lets say it was much later.

I got some candid shots of my sister(s) and they are cute lil' bugs.

Reading Peoples Magazine of course...

Swim buds. (A.K.A) in younger terms. BFF.

Kalinja or otherwise known as 'Bean'

After having fun with photo taking, Britt'e FINALLY got to swim, and it was so incredibly worth the wait.  My athlete of a sister dropped 6 seconds...6! She is amazing.

Love you Britt'e Bre.  Sorry the amount of embarrassment

                 Well...Maybe not ;)

Change in the Weather

Life is going swell! I love being in Utah and how every morning when you wake up, you never know if it is going to be sunny/rainy/snowy/windy/hailing, it is always a surprise! Today was rather a great sunny day though.
Sitting at school, waiting for the bus to come take me home, I was hanging out in the "fort" as we call it with some of my girlfriends.    The Lovely miss Alicia her self (Blondie above) is the fun and very smart one out of us.  She can literally just look at you and say something simple but hysterical and have a room laughing instantly!  She is getting married on March 20th to the one and only "Ky".  So, cloud 9 seems to be her plane field :) I am so excited for the two of them!
We had so many good laughs! The fort in an area at our University where we take four couches and make them into a box and we all sit together.  It is almost impossible to do homework while we sit in this particular area, but today we actually did it!  This lovely lady above is Miss Allison, what a witty individual she is.  I told her once upon a time that I loved how she speaks, wondering why? She had the word spectrum from here to outer-space and I love how clever she can make a sentence! She is one of the people who you could literally listen to talk for hours, and that doesn't come along everyday!  And another thing...she blogs :)

With all of the Sunshine today, the bus wasn't completely terrible! I enjoyed being outside and working on my "tan".

My mom and I did some errands today and she had the brilliant idea for us to go to the grocery store to pick up some delicious items, one being my favorite things that I could be stranded on an island and survive off of these alone. Strawberries. (It gets better) My mom is very brilliant and we decided to go home and make chocolate covered Strawberries and Banana's, after school couldn't get much better than this.
My mom is an amazing chef at our house.  She can make any food she makes looks beautiful.  I unfortunately tried to make my "Master piece" beautiful, but it seems that mine didn't look at pretty and you can see, but hey, I was eating it regardless of how unappealing it may have looked, and to inform you of how it tasted, it tasted divine.

I don't know about all of you, but if you have dogs you know exactly what I'm taking about when I say this, giving them baths is a complete NIGHTMARE.
This is my grown dog Vannah (A.K.A. Savannah)  The night resulted in her jumping out of the bath tub in soap and water and my pants, soaked.  At least she is clean.

Sunny days result in good adventures and that = today.

Ladies Night Out

On Valentines day, our parents gave each of us 5 girls a Valentine.  In an envelope was an invitation to an evening of a...

We were going to go see Don Quixote!  All 5 of us girls have done ballet at one point or another, and two are still excelling in the art, so this was a special treat for us.

Before we went to Capitol Theatre, of course we had to go get some dinner.  We needed somewhere that wasn't incredibly unhealthy (since we are trying to be good...) Zupas was the agreement.  We grabbed some dinner and had some good laughs and headed to Salt Lake City for the Ballet.

We absolutely love the Capital Theatre, everything about this building is beautiful.

Before the show started, we skimmed through the programs and looked at all of the company members and Such.  I probably should have read the story line before hand...the first Act made ZERO sense to me.  I figured since I had seen so many ballets I would pick up the story line, but I unfortunately didn't, so during intermission I took my moms advice, "Giselle, read the story line."  Who knew, it actually helped. hmm.
